The Wirelings are the first digital native theatre ensemble that we know about. What's digitally native theatre? We make live theatre, in real time, using digital platforms that allow the audience and the actors to meet in the same digital space. It's an exploration, it's an experience, it's an experiment, and it's better to come see one of our shows to get a first-hand understanding.

Like all great ideas, we have a manifesto for making theatre (digital and live) in a post-COVID19 pandemic world. Click here to read our manifesto: Perseverant Theatre: Rules for a Post-Pandemic Digital Modus, which was published recently in Mise-en-Abyme International Journal of Comparative Literature and Arts.
Four dark blue boxes arranged in a square. Three of the boxes have line drawings of faces. The fourth box has a large green W. The line drawings connect to one another and to the W.

We are proud to announce our newest experiment: Gulliver's Travels, a Play with Scale by Jake Green!
Lost at sea, Dr. Lemuel Gulliver lands first on the island of Lilliput where he is a giant, who must contend with petty royals and their small-minded natures. From there, he washes ashore in the country of Brobdingnag where he discovers he's the tiny one and is captured by Glitch, a 100-foot tall girl with even bigger dreams!

The Wireling's first foray into the world of theatre for young audiences has us exploring Jonathan Swift's classic satirical fantasy adventure adapted for just two actors! Gulliver's Travels, a Play with Scale is a story about looking beyond ourselves and learning how to take perspectives other than our own. Combining physical comedy, witty verse, and toy theatre, our Gulliver's Travels is sure to provide something for the whole family.
